How to download e-Aadhaar using mAadhaar — Quick Steps
1. Install or open the official mAadhaar app on your Android or iOS device.
2. Choose your language and enter your registered mobile number to receive OTP.
3. From the dashboard tap Download Aadhaar and select Regular or Masked Aadhaar.
4. Enter your Aadhaar Number (UID) / VID / EID, complete captcha and verify using OTP.
5. Tap Verify & Download — your e-Aadhaar PDF will be saved on your device.
Important Notes
• You must have the mobile number registered with UIDAI to receive OTP.
• The downloaded e-Aadhaar is password protected. Open it with: First 4 letters of name in CAPITAL + Birth Year (YYYY) (e.g., RAVI1998).
• Use Masked Aadhaar for privacy when sharing; it is legally valid for most KYC purposes.
